DarkAIDefense ISO/IEC 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) Policy
Purpose
DarkAIDefense.com is committed to advancing responsible, equitable, and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence. This policy establishes our guiding principles for the governance, assessment, and communication of AI risks in alignment with ISO/IEC 42001:2023.
Scope
This policy applies to all DarkAIDefense activities, including research, analysis, publications, risk scoring, and advisory outputs related to Artificial Intelligence governance and policy.
Principles
DarkAIDefense will:
1. Transparency
• Disclose sources, methodologies, and limitations in all AI-related analyses.
• Provide auditable logs of AI risk scoring and assessment processes.
2. Equity & Inclusion
• Ensure representation of diverse perspectives in AI risk analysis, with particular attention to gender, race, age, and disability impacts.
• Prioritize fairness and accessibility in both methodology and outputs.
3. Accountability
• Assign clear responsibility for the integrity of AI assessments to the AI Governance Lead.
• Correct inaccuracies promptly and maintain a record of corrections.
4. Safety & Interruptibility
• Advocate for and model AI systems that are controllable, auditable, and interruptible.
• Highlight risks of autonomous or agentic AI without sufficient safeguards.
5. Environmental Responsibility
• Track and disclose estimated energy use of content creation, expressed in relatable equivalents (e.g., time powering a 100-watt light bulb).
6. Continuous Improvement
• Regularly review and update governance practices to reflect evolving AI standards, regulations, and societal expectations.
• Conduct periodic internal audits and management reviews to ensure effectiveness of the AIMS.
